A fantastic opportunity for Scouts, Explorers, and Network members to try taster sessions of all sorts of water activities including Canoeing, Kayaking and Sailing, Sit ons and more if we get enough instructors
At the Anderton Centre, on the shores of Rivington Reservoir near Chorley
On 9th & 10th September 2017
There are 3 sessions that are available:
Saturday morning 9.30-12.30
Saturday afternoon 1.30-4.30
Sunday morning 9.30-12.30
Following the success of last year, we will keep the same format this year and will be restricting the booking numbers for each session to 130. This made it a much better experience for the young people as we offer more structured sessions and removed the queues.
Only £9 per session per person or book both Saturday sessions for £17
Booking is via the West Lancs County on line shop Click Here
To minimise charges for making card payments we recommend that you place one booking for a Group of people. Full payment required with booking. Bookings can only be made by Leaders for Groups and not by individuals.
Participants must be able to swim.
EVERY person on site MUST be booked in and wear a wristband even if they are choosing not to take part in the activities.
It is imperative that there are enough leaders with each group of young people to provide adequate supervision. SplAShU staff will be providing supervision for all water activities but when on shore, all young people must be supervised by their own leaders who, if down by the water will be required to wear a buoyancy aid.
Fancy getting involved on land or on the water?
