Applying for a County Training Course
You will need to complete an application form which you can download from this website. Please make sure that you double check that your email address is correct since this will be the primary mode of communication. Please also ensure that any dietary requirements or relevant special needs are included.
You should send the completed form to your Local Training Manager or Administrator along with payment (unless other arrangements have been agreed). The application will be recorded and forwarded to the County Training Administrator. Your Scout Group should pay for your essential training, but a few Districts pay for all basic training and you should check whether this is the case with your LTM.
Forms should reach the Administrator no later than 2 weeks before the course. However the earlier you apply, the more likely you are to secure a place.County-Course-Application-Form.doc (411 downloads)
