As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we help over 460,000 young people aged 6-25 enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future.

Volunteering with us is easy, fun and flexible – how much time you give is completely up to you. Whether you help once a week, fortnight, month or just at special events or camps, there is bound to be a role you can play. You don’t have to be an expert to get involved. We all have useful skills and you can help in many ways, whether that be playing a sport or musical instrument, completing admin, looking after the finances, or you’re a whizz at DIY. Anytime you can give to The Scouts will make a massive difference. Go on, get involved and join the adventure too!
The Scouts are a charity run entirely by volunteers. A member of our team will endeavour to get back to you as soon as they can with further information, but this is not always possible. Occasionally, our volunteers have family commitments, are away with work, on holiday, or busy running Scouting events. If you’ve not received further information within 2 weeks, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll ensure that your enquiry is being dealt with.
